Any Major Favourites 2015 Vol. 2
Last week we had 21 songs from 21 mixes posted on this blog in 2015. Here are 19 more songs from 19 more mixes posted in 2015. That gives us 40 mixes, though there were a couple more, in addition to the monthly In Memoriam posts.
Nobody has asked me which was my favourite Any Major Mix of 2015. I will still venture an answer. I think I’ve played the Any Major Roads Vol. 1 mix the most, along with both Not Feeling Guilty mixes, Vol. 4 and Vol. 5, and Any Major Winter.
I dare not ask which mix you liked in particular, since readers of his blog are very shy people, aside from a few comment section regulars, whom I love very much. Still, which Any Major Mix (or mixes, of course) did you particular enjoy the past year “” or, indeed, ever?

It is hard to name one of your compilations as the best because all of them are unique in any way. If have to name one it will be your history in records. Maybe because I am German and I was close to your words.
My favorite comps off all time on any blog are, and I say this without without hesitation, the two German Hit Parade posts of 2014. I presented the two CDs to my 91 year old German American mother who emigrated to the USA in 1949. She cried while listening and I’ve been forever grateful to you, Dude, for the posts. And without question my mom is grateful to you as well.
Wow! Just wow!
For me it’s been the Life In Vinyl, Teen Dreams and Glam compilations which have resonated & struck many a chord to give me some warm, fuzzy feelings from the memories – not to mention giving me the chance to don the satin pantsuits & throw some rock star poses. Great work, great mixes, many thanks!
NFG Vol. 3 was my favorite, but it’s hard to pick one of those over another. I’m really way more obsessed with those mixes than I should be. Thanks much for all the great tunes.
I have enjoyed all of your mixes and haven’t missed any of them for several years. Beatles, Soul, Rock, Pop, etc.
I like the Any Major Soul ones quite a lot because you know tons more than I do about Motown, and I grew up there during the 60s and 70s! I always appreciate your focus and your informative notes, not to mention the breadth of this blog. Thanks!
@halfhearteddude
Any Major Funk 8 was one of my favorites. I rode with that one over a tough summer. You do good work here. You’re my original mp3 blog and I keep coming back.
The In Memoriam mixes are always worthwhile as well.
Thanks.
Not Feeling Guilty – any one of the mixes. Listen to them at work all the time.
Thank you!!
