Intros Quiz – 1979 edition
At this point in our series of 5-year cycle intros quizzes we enter the era by when I had become a serious consumer of records. Of the 20 songs featured in this quiz “” all released as singles in 1979 (though some may have been hits in early 1980 or appeared on LPs in 1978) “” I had half on 7” singles, two more on LP and almost all of the others on tape “” but not number 12, which I despised at the time.
As always, each of the 20 intros is 5-7 seconds in length. I will post the answers in the comments section by Monday. If that pesky number 4 bothers you too much to wait, e-mail me or message me on Facebook (to become my friend, click here), and I’ll send you the answers..
.
Hmmm. 7, 9 and 19 are stumping me first thing in the morning, but I also have everything else in one shape or another – and probably those missing ones, because I know what they are, just can’t place them right now.
I can almost bet that you have those three too.
OK, I think I might have them all. Sent an email!
