Intros Quiz – 1964 edition
In this year’s monthly intros quizzes, we’ll continue the five-year cycle, starting in 1964 (next month will cover 1969 and so on). As always, twenty intros to hit songs from that year of 5-7 seconds in length. All where single releases that yeay, except the well-known first intro, and all were hits that year.
The answers will be posted in the comments section by Thursday. As always, if the pesky number 17 bugs you, e-mail me at halfhearteddude [at) gmail [dot] com for the answers.

The cover of Germany’s Bravo magazine, incidentally, comes from Cover Browser, an absolute treasure trove.

It has been correctly pointed out to me that Dusty’s song wasn’t from 1964, but 1966. I am shocked to learn that my meticulous ID3 tagging has suffered such a lapse. I’ll have to revise all my ID3 tags now (see what you’ve done, Stewart? You’re like the customers in the Monty Python sketch complaining about the dirty fork).
