I love your site. Today I went down a wikipedia rabbit hole and discovered the songs of Will Jennings. Made me think that a Any Major Jennings would be right up your alley! (Maybe even add some Waylon Jennings to confuse folks)
I tried to download The Bacharach/David Songbook Vol. 2. I received a virus warning from my computer. I tried both sources and received the same warning. This is the first time that has ever happened to me from your website. Just wanted to let you know.
I was checking out Any Major Dude With Half A Heart (which is very cool!) and thought you might be interested in the best 1,000 albums ever project, which is rocketing toward the halfway point with almost 500 blog posts released and counting!
Thank you so much for your product of passion. I know personally how much time and effort can go into making a search and collection of custom material. A labor of LOVE. Thanks for sharing and allowing me to access songs that I wouldnt be able to
Also BTW can you update the Beatles covers 3 vol set?
As well as the originals page Such great history!
I saw some wonderful albums under the category ‘Any Major Soul…’ but all of them from Vol23 and earlier are no longer available as Zippyshare is defunct and they are not found on Rapidgator either. Are there any plans to make them available on Mega at all? Similarly there are many others which are no longer available…. :-(
I see you include a song by Lea roberts laughter in the rain, I have searched everywhere to buy or get a copy on cd or any other medium, how did you get a copy if you don’t mind telling me. Thanks so much
Dear Dude,
I am stunned about your widespread knowledge… this is so fascinating! I mean, everyone got to know that Jane Birkin has died – but how do you get reliable information of all the guys from any far out countries have died I haven’t even HEARD of!! And I live in a jukebox! And how will you know who worked as a background singer or head technician or producer?
(When I listened to an older “In Memoriam”, there was “Englishman in New York” – and I shrugged “Sting has died?” but it was “only” an Oz guy who was working as a background singer…
And the access to all this widespread stuff. On another compilation there was “In the ghetto” by Elvis. Heard that a thousand times – pretty soon it came to my mind that it was duet with Lisa Marie I did not know even existed! Heartwarming.
Dude, I know a lot, I think (subscriber of the German Rolling Stone from the beginning on!), but it seems to be a tiny bit compared to you…
Keep up this good work, I will listen (and there will be another coffee soon!).
Do you know or have come across sheet music to the Aretha Franklin feat. Michael McDonald song-Everchanging Times ? I’ve looked everywhere, I mean everywhere,

I think you are referring to the Covered With Soul series. I will soon post the whole collection in one go.

To be perfectly honest, I don’t recall. But have you checked this out?

Danke für die netten Worte, Karsten. Well, a bit of knowledge has to be there, but much of it is just a lot of painstaking research.
Hi, could you update the links to Any Major Disco please as the current links do not work.
Kind regards
All Any Major Disco links are up again.
Can you do session collection of Nicky Hopkins
Hi There,
Do you know or have come across sheet music to the Aretha Franklin feat. Michael McDonald song-Everchanging Times ? I’ve looked everywhere, I mean everywhere,
He’d have turned 80 next February. That would be a good occasion.
I have no idea, sorry. The original was by Siedah Garrett; maybe that might help track down the sheet music. Gorgeous song.
